Backstage racism as racism that occurs behind closed doors and with the in-group (ie. making racist jokes with your friends) Prejudice - a negative attitude towards an entire group of people. Discrimination - a behavior that deprives a group of certain rights and/or opportunities. One may not be prejudices but can still act in a discriminatory manner. Passive racism (being a bystander to racist actions) Microaggressions (brief indignities that insult minorities, whether intentionally or unintentionally; ie. no, where are your people from? )
