Microaggressions as a form of racism (at both the personal and institutional level) Racism as not a psychological disease but a social plague (as it is a learned behavior; no one is born racist) System of structural advantage as based on race; no one is born racist. Easier to think of racism as a mere prejudice; in reality, it"s disadvantaged vs. privileged. Racism as attitudes, ideas, and practices that reproduce this system of structural advantage. Discrimination - a behavior that deprives a group of certain rights and/or opportunities. One may not be prejudices but can still act in a discriminatory manner.
