Structured interviewing: review, every member of the population has an equal chance at being selected, means we have to understand who the population is. The individual interviewer is doing all the interviews the same. Female/male these categories do not fit everyone: ex. Interviewer does not interpret responses before recording them: ex. Someone identifies as middle class but then goes on to explain further and it becomes clear that they are lower class.
