Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder- most common childhood disorder for. Inattention: trouble paying attention and focusing, easily distractible, cant pay attention to detail, following directions, listening. Impulsivity: act with out thinking, dangerous, crossing street, cant wait their mean to be disruptive but it happens. Hyperactive: much more active, fidgety, restless, tapping, making noises, around, interrupting, talk a lot. Inattentive: don"t show activity, disruptive type, so they fall through the cracks because they are just not paying attention or they are day dreaming. Impulsivity is more at risk for developing more sever disorders. Treatment- medication (monitored y a psychiatrist) therapy and interventions.
