Document Summary

Three facets of intellectual and historical view of philosophy that had a huge impact on the emergence of modern philosophy. God exists, and exists as the supreme being. God is necessarily good, hence everything that god creates in good. The supremely perfect character of god, the only kind of evil that can exist in the order of creation cannot be due directly to god. It has to be derived from humans as a result. Evil results from the original corruption of human nature, human evil action. The sin of following eve, adam chooses freely to do evil, connection to an account of human freedom. Problem- evil results form corruption, which results of evil. Redemption or salvation of human will is only achievable through god"s grace.
