Athletes believe that goals are only moderately effective in maximizing performance: may be due to trouble guring out how to get to those goals. Goal: object or end one strives to attain (an aim: you know what it is, but you can"t really word it need to know speci cally . Another de nition for goal: what an individual is trying to accomplish, the aim or object of an action. Thursday, october 1, 2015: purposeful & that human beings are rational and will use that rationality to obtain their goal. Choice about how to focus/direct your behavior: product quality or quantity.
