Why do human beings record events and create tales that are immortalized in literature or art: there is more than one author of job, to share the lessons learned, to give common base of conversation, legacy. What makes a work of art a masterpiece: causes us to think, takes a certain amount of skill- level of expertise. Who is the protagonist in this work: god. The devil almost tricked god into letting the things happen to job. Or god knew job would not crack.
