Brunelleschi: competition for baptistery doors, lost competition, left florence for rome, studied ancient architecture of the romans. Ghiberti: competition for baptistery doors, won the competition. Perspective: a mathematical process that allows you to create the feeling of three dimensions. In power for 76 years: ruled for four generations, florence had great civil rights, emphasize power of the individuals, but stopped representing the individual, the great forefather of this, commissioned art, had great influence over the religious scene.
