Identifies home using her husband"s inability to understand her childhood home and her family life. He doesn"t see the point in the topics that her family talks about. Her home is more about the people there rather than the house itself. Se chooses not to tell her husband much of anything when he calls and asks what she"s doing. Distance between family members is shown when her aunts ask how nyc is.
