In each essay, you will have to discuss 3-4 different theorists. Example question: write an essay discussing 4 theorist perspectives on un pictura poesis. Example question: write an essay about these 4 lines in latin (recognize it as. Horace and connect it to 3 other theorists) Example question: given the word allegory, discuss with 4 theorists. Nothing we haven"t discussed in class/taken a quiz on. Material on quiz that day will be part of the midterm. Know 12 theorists very well, have some backups. Can"t use any theorist more than once. Apology mixes things together rather than being an original claim. Historian just repeats what has been where as poet creates beautiful world (sidney is plagiarizing poetics) In another section, he refutes that poetry is the mother of all lies.
