Consider the different kinds of capacities these things have. Immateriality of the intellect: brain = physical organ. Not particular person, but essence of human signifies form and matter. Particular human = particular soul, defined by operations. --the intellect cannot contain within itself the nature of any body, so the intellect is immaterial. Or just the body = physicalism where brain = intellect/mind.
