Pride may not be the best word (positive: proud man ) Pride is the opposite of shame inner feeling, aside from reputation. Essence: thinking yourself worthy of great honors and being so worthy. Vanity; think youself worthy of more than you are. Defect: undue humility think yourself worth less than you are. Stand back from honorable actions of which they are, in fact, worthy. Magnanimity requires goodness completes your other virtures and makes them better. Translation issue: pride is the crown of the virtures. Magnanimity is the ordered beauty/ornament of all the other virtues. Thinks himself above danger; face great danger for what he loves - life is not worth living if certain people he loves are gone. Money not sufficient to make you worthy of pride; though having lots of money can make your pride more excellent capuble of great generosity. In relation to money, time, favors, even injustives, he will act with noblesse oblie.
