Shaman- found in arctic, circle, can intercede with the supernatural, common in non- industrialized societies. Formal: aka social, based upon written law, which defines what you can and cannot do, defines relationships, external. Informal: aka cultural, internalized, what you can & cannot do get from religious beliefs, friends, family, and peers, patterns and religion. Politics: competition of power over the people.
