Bill clinton 1998-1999 impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice. Only sixty found him guilty so he was found not guilty and got to finish his term. All senators knew he was guilty but they didn"t want al gore to be president so they found him not guilty also didn"t wanna impeach him because he was popular and america liked him. His main campaign goal for his first term was to fix the economy, which he did. Richard nixon (almost) paranoid that democrats wanted to kill him off politically; ran for president in 1960 against a kennedy, 1968 ran again but another kennedy killed, 1972 runs against another kennedy; Watergate scandal, building in washington where democrats had their headquarters.
