Social anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, and ptsd (previously discussed differences in presentation in adulthood) Specific learning disorders has a specifier: dyslexia: impairment in reading; 5-15% of school aged children, dyscalculia: impairment in math; difficulty in producing or understanding numbers, quantities, or basic arithmetic operations, impairment in written expression. Phonological awareness training involves helping children master the task of converting sounds to words. Extended time; webcast and video lectures etc. can be helpful.
