We see new innovaions and ideas that lead to a new kind of verisimilitude. We see a study of classical art, and a creaion of neo-classical ideas. The great painters (michelangelo, raphael, etc. ) introduced new techniques in art such as shading and perspecive to create a 3d view. The italian renaissance is mostly known for its technological advances. The most famous forms of theatrical entertainment were: operas, intermezzi short, mythical plays, commedia dell"arte.
