Findings: the specialized service to seniors provided by the gray squad results in more con dence in senior communities regarding their safety, in at least milwaukee, wisconsin. Although this study only samples seniors that are 60 and older, the author cautions readers to note the growing victimization rates among all seniors. Squad, the author stresses the need for trained special police units in senior communities, as they play a signi cant role in crime prevention, education and post-crime support. The strength of this peer-reviewed journal lies in its inclusion of socio- demographic data (i. e. education level, age, household size, employment status, Nancial situation, race and sex) on the subjects of the study.
