Document Summary

Chances are you or loved one will get cancer. We spend our lives riding line of cell growth and cell death. Cell death is critical to shape organs/tissues as well as get rid of problematic cells. If we get too much cell death, we get organ failure. As we undergo life, we"re exposed to a number od different things in environment that increase chance of getting cancer(carcinogens. ) for example, uv radiation and x-rays which mutate dna. What controls cell cycle are a series of genes. The genes regulate how fast cell grows. these cells can be mutated. Chemicals in food, gardening, etc can cause cancer in cell. There is predisposition based on genes you got from parents. They make you more disposed to developing cancer. If it only grew every 24 hours, it"d take forever to heal. You can artificially speed up or slow down cell growth. Growth factors especially occur when teenagers go through growth spurts.
