Theories of audition: place theory, works on sounds higher than 150 hz, frequency theory, works with sound lower than 500 hz. Structures in ear: kinesthetic senses, today movement, vestibular, body orientation. Senses: touch, tactile, nerve endings, olfaction, sense of taste, taste buds, sweet, sour, salty, bitter, ummami, gustation, sense of taste, nerve endings. Perception: process which sensory information is organized and interpreted by brain, we assemble sensation in usable patterns, attention, process of selecting some sensations for further processing. Gestalt: figure ground, background boundary and contour, similarity, alike grouped together, proximity, near grouped together, closure, see completed figure, pragnaz, see the best or correct, what is constancy, taste. Constancy and illusion: benefit, illusion is cost, 3 perceptual constancies, size, shape, brightness, which cue to depth perception requires two eyes, convergence. Depth perception: binocular, 2 eyes, binocular or retina disparity, convergence, muscles to accommodate or cross on close objects, monocular, 1 eyes.
