Haydn is now writing more sing inspired these, borrowing from folk tradition and popular song to appeal to public audiences. We don"t know if this was a conscious borrowing or just came to him from his background (since he grew up in the countryside). He would"ve likely known these sorts of songs. The classical era saw rise of the keyboard concerto to new heights. Bach had been one of the first composers to see the potential of the concerto format for the harpsichord, and the ideas were continued on once the fortepiano cam to prominence. One of the first composers to compose concerti for the full potential of the fortepiano was j. c. J. c. bach composed some 40 concertos for fortepiano and orchestra (he advocated the use of the fortepiano over the harpsichord) and developed a form for the first movements of his concerti that mozart eventually adopted.
