This study looked at obesity rate of children under 15. Canadian kids are the 4th fattest in the world. The increasing lack of exercise plays in important role. Study suggest that if we take a look at the global population by the year 2025 approx. 20% of global population will be obese. Lies on the diets of the rising standard of living. A potato has no taste but really comes from the fat and somewhat the seasoning. If you were thin you were poor cause you"re undernourished. However now if you"re fat it means you are poor because fat is cheap. French paradox, the french tend to consume significant amount of alcohol and fat in a variety of forms: eg. Foie gras: they have the lowest heart diseases rate in the world. The amount of fat eaten is changing over time. We don"t recognize how we got to where we are today.
