Substance dependence: shows physical reactions, such as tolerance and withdrawal. Comorbidity- substance-related disorder and another psychological disorder (ie. , depression & alcohol) Antisocial personality disorder: profound disregard for, and violation of rights of others: not upset/anxious about behavior no personal distress. Length of treatment- one hour, weekly, few weeks. Online therapy- mild to moderate problems: advantages: privacy, 24/7 coverage, better with visual (skype), time savings , disadvantages: loss of nonverbal cues, confidentiality, therapy credentials. Psychotherapy: techniques employed to improve psychological functioning and promote adjustment to life.
