Most affected group overall is men who have sex with other men. Gay communities begin to notice men dying in early 1980s but no one is sure of the cause. At first organizations in gay communities began to distribute information on the sickness but no name for the disease at this time or not sure what to do. June 18, 1983: center for disease control reported first reported a case called acquired. No one knows for sure what is happening in early 80s except gay men are dying.
