If the patients try to sell the house , the hospital gets the money first to get their payments: three part mission of the hospital, treatment, research and education, all hospitals do treatment, some hospitals have more information where medical research is conducted, they can be education such as training of physicians, undergrad and medical schools present as a part of the university. 4 years of residency program for the specialty they have chosen and residency for hospital: hospital runs the residency training program, aligned technology, major source of employment, medium sized towns hospitals are the biggest employers, employees 10% of the community, the wages are relatively higher average wage per year usually higher than average.
