Collaboration: co-equal, voluntarily, shared decision making, common goal. Co-equal: not, superintendent, students, only if both parties feel equal, ex: fear of being fired. Parity: equal value, equal power, collaboration by coercion/forced unequal power. Prerequisites: perspective, what you bring to a situation, background affects focus, perception, where your focus lies, think concert example, perspective shapes your perception. Nonverbal: body movement, spatial relations-proximity, vocal cues, minimal encouragers, nod, uh-huh.
