Interpersonal communication: simultaneous sending/receiving, environmental communication, out of context, frame of reference, cultural, communication through channels, visual/auditory, noise in communication, sound, mood, sight, smell, etc, anything that interferes with or distorts communication. Prerequisites: perspective, what you bring to a situation, background affects focus, perception, where your focus lies, think concert example, perspective shapes your perception. Nonverbal: body movement, spatial relations-proximity, vocal cues, minimal encouragers, nod, uh-huh.
