In a multicultural, post-modern world, we need to learn about and acknowledge the diversity and similarities of our fellow humans. Ritual art shows the human desire to understand and make meaning of the world around us, such as the powers of nature and the uncertainties of life. Think about the overarching concepts which unite or contrast the expressions of the following cultures" art. Multicultural philosophy is a philosophy for the study of art whereby inquiry into the nature and value of art objects from around the world (including one"s own) serves to enhance understanding and acceptance of oneself and others. Innovation of form: creative, expressive, and unique approaches to form. Visual abstraction: bold and subtle ways of rendering the form.
