Routers-computers that receive packets and access routing info and pass it on. Doman name servers -are computers that store mapping between domain names and ip addresses. Domain names - easier to remember than ip address. Connected to backbone linked to secondary -state highway. Fiberoptic cables-information moving at the speed of light.
