Child find: all schools are required to identify students with disabilities (0-21 years). Referral: teacher/parent asks for child to be evaluated. Evaluation: 60 days to evaluate and meet parents. Eligibility determination: 1) does he/she meet criteria 2) does he/she require spec. A student"s change (or lack of change) in academic performance or behavior as a result of instruction. Team meeting: annual meeting between parents and professionals. Ifsp: iep for smaller children (0-3 yrs/0-5yrs). Transition: age of 14/16, child needs plan to transition to college, career, or community. Co-teaching/ cooperative learning: students in groups who have different abilities. Peer tutoring: a student is trained by teach to help another student in something they are good at. Pais: peers assisted learning strategy: almost two peers. Modification: changing content to meet students needs.
