All gates can be made through the use of nand gates. Any boolean function can be implemented using only nand gates. Equiv gate(from nand gates) output is high if both inputs are the same. Logic gates may be used to create circuits that are broadly divided into two categories: Combinational logic: combine logic gates, output depends on input states. When the inputs of a nand gate are connected together it acts as an invertor. 3-input nand gate always gives 1 as an output, apart from when all 3 inputs are 1. Sequential logic: use feedback, output depends on input states and previous state(s) Binary values can be efficiently manipulated by computer (digital) technologies. Mechanism that emits an alternating sequence of 0 and 1 values at a regular rate. We use the term little endian to characterize a system that numbers bytes of an integer from least-significant to most-significant.
