Disorders such as depression and anxiety disorders more common in women. Disorders such as autism and antisocial personality disorder more common in men. Symptoms of the disorder must interfere with at least one aspect of a person s life to be considered a disorder. Etiology: factors that contribute to the development of a disorder.
