Win-win: when various inputs are better than individual ideas (synergy; 2+2=5) Compromise: still gives reasonable results but individual person will not get everything he wanted. Win-lose: aggressive, winner-takes-all approach; person may end up winning argument but losing support of group. Agreeing to disagree: attempt to avoid conflict; one person might agree to precede on basis that his objection is noted in team minutes; vital that losing side puts its differences aside and full effort into team decision. Giving ground: when outcome is not valued highly, negotiation might be possible with other party.
