Cell cycle control system cyclically operating set of molecules in cell that triggers & coordinates key events in cell cycle. Checkpoint - control point where stop & go-ahead signals can regulate the cycle important ones in g1, g2 & m phases cell cycle regulated by internal & external signals e. g. growth factor.
