The objective is to investigate the effects of forces: Review of vectors replacing multiple forces acting on an object with a single equivalent or resultant force, relations between forces acting on an object that is in a state of equilibrium. The n dimensional vector x is an ordered set of n numbers with certain arithmetic operations defined over the collection of all such sets. A matrix is a rectangular array of numbers that is arranged systematically in rows and columns. Certain arithmetic operations are defined over the collection of all such arrays. If a matrix a has m rows and n columns, then its m*n elements are named aij where. 1<= i <= m and 1<= j <= n. the first index i indicates the row on which this element is located and the second index j indicates its column.
