Document Summary

I need to convince you that it exist (because you won"t like it) Example: somebody picking up trash outside of their classroom and throws it into the trashcan. Looking at the physical phenomena and what is going on in the situation but only look at their behaviors (no way to measure internal feelings, simply didn"t have the tools to do so) Not looking at the facts but what emerges properties of all those facts (sounds more like social psychology right?) As our techniques improve these become less important. Being happy: the self-esteem issue: we are not perfect ( mess up really really hard, we think we are pretty cool, uh oh. Trip down stairs ( ? to ask why it happened to maintain self-esteem: builder built stairs wrong, somebody tripped me, the just mopped so it was slippery, etc. Being right: the need for accuracy (maslow"s hierarchy of needs) Give you a better understanding of social situation.
