Theory: an attempt to explain the relationship between phenomena. Aristole proved it wasn"t flat over 2000 years ago. Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492 (which is what everyone was taught in grade school) Anybody with a seventh grade education knows that we revolve around the sun but 1000 years ago they didn"t realize that. Didn"t have the science to prove this theory. 14 billion years ago something smaller than an atom exploded (big bang theory) and began to expand to create the world today. 100 million years it is suppose in close on itself. Big bang theory tells you what happened (bullet point above) but it truly doesn"t explain why it happened or what actually happen. Evolution tells you what happened but doesn"t explain what actually happened. New theory that the universe has always existed. Theories are always changing/scientist are always right. Just trying to explain why two things have a relationship.
