~the play follows the story of a women name medea and her husband leaves her and their two boys to marry the princess of corinth. The king of corinth, creon, then banishes medea from the city. Though medea pleas she have one more day till she leaves to be able to gather everything. Instead of packing up she plans to gain revenge against jason. Then jason arrives to tell medea that marrying the princess is for the best, but, medea still does not care what he has to say. In the meanwhile she runs into aegeus, the king of athens. He offers her his house in athens as a safe haven, if she can give him a potion that can make him have kids. She then delivers two gifts to the princess persuading her to ask creon if the two boys can stay. She tries on her two gifts, a crown and a dress.
