The two hour film kept me interested with its urban setting and familiar reality of struggling students trying to become better as i see in many other movies. I enjoyed watching a coach take a team with 4 wins and 23 losses become a team with a winning streak through disciplining them. This movie specifically had a strategy to improve the outcome of living in a hostile environment through mentoring students in sports and stressing the importance of academics. My initial reaction was that the movie was funny, had a main character that portrayed the coach"s intentions perfectly, and an ending that showed improvement for the team.
