The science of living organisms and life processes. The science of life: what is science, what is life, we all recognize what life is, but it"s difficult of define. If its life, it has the ability to reproduce, although it doesn"t have to. Biology 1001: ability to evolve to change to fit the environment. It takes one organism to evolve into two different ones. All life forms have these characteristics in common, yet there is an amazing diversity in the forms of life in the planet. All living organisms are organized into groups. Each of the major organizational groups are called domains. There are two prokaryotic domains: bacteria, archaea. There is one eukaryotic domain: eukarya. They are grouped based on their dna. Within the domains are at least 6 groups known as kingdoms: one in bacteria, one in archaea, four in eukarya, animals, fungi, plants, protists. Each of the major organizational groups called kingdoms have different attributes which define them.
