As wholeheartedly distracting and useless as this type of group member may appear to be, they are, in fact, a necessity in the modern workforce. This is because, while they lack the drive and concentration of analyticals or drivers , they provide unto the group a refreshingly insightful and creative outlook that the other may not be able to conceive on their own. They also establish a warmer environment within the group, as they are great socializers and, therefore, may be able to initiate conversation amongst the other members of the group. Whenever i initiate a group project with a group of people, i focus on establishing a nice conversation amongst the members of the group, usually through a system of jokes based upon the current situation.
