Theory: looking at communication phenomenon, looking for ways to predict. Communication: express ideas with understanding, social acceptance, express feelings, listening, facial expressions/body language. Characteristics of interpersonal communication: human communication- communication happening between 2 people, collective actixity dyads (2 people) Intrapersonal communication- communication happening in our head and with ourselves: creative activity we create the things we use to communication. For example we create verbal and non-verbal to communicate: regulatory- we use the environment around us to control us, suggest that the things around us influences us.
