Primary & secondary sources: primary sources, first-hand accounts, get letters and stories if dead, artifacts, material created in past, secondary sources, giving account of past, text book, professor, students (putting things together & interpreting) Created in past we can use, analyze & question what was happening in past. Example: find out fall semester 2013 at lsu. Evidence: gumbo(yearbook), students papers, pictures(football games), notes, driver"s license, emails home, clothes. Then write questions will be different because people find different history (evidence) Be aware of what we are using & different questions. Interpretation: giving our interpretation of the evidence. Who wrote it: can be yes or a no. maybe guess what type of person. When was it written: yes or no (roughly era)
