Document Summary
Geography: have to have info form geographers, physical geographers: look at landforms, cultural geographers: how people of the land form with geography, economics geographer: coal, gas, etc, people who measure and make up maps are called cartographers. La need info to make changes to the landscape: geographers analyze, measure, and make maps. Sometimes changes are big or small: ex: volcanoes can be a quick change in landscape (w/o there would be no hawaii) Forest = rain: grass = not as much rain, desert = little to no rain, tiny leaves cause the plants to transpire less, have a cuticle: waxy coating, cactus have chlorophyll in their trunks. Fog goes up gullies which constantly brings moisture to the trees. Grapes grow in microclimates as well: ex: germany on hillside w/ correct amount of slope to have the correct amount of sun light in order for grapes to grow.
