Weapons: 7% of student reported they were threaten with a weapon at school the number of student reporting carrying a weapon to school has declined. Who are our victims: males have higher rates than females, urban school student higher than suburban and rural, whites had lower rates of victimization than blacks and hispanics. Bullying : a major problem, about 28% reported being bullied at some point during the school year, about 9% report being cyber bullied (this increased from 2007) Girls are more likely to be the victims and offenders.
