A category of ppl who have approximately the same power. & wealth upper class(1%), upper middle class(8. 2%), middle class(46. 6%), lower class(36. 6%) social status: amnt of honor/prestige a person receives from others in the community socio-economic status: considers income, education, & occupation when assessing ppls statuses. Reward takes care of jobs that are in high demand. Demand goes up, supply down; pay up& vice-versa.
