Family/child factors: secure attachment more likely when mothers were better adjusted, secure attachment more likely when mothers were more sensitive. Children who went to child care outside of school were more prepared for preschool. If children go to child care, they are more prepared for school, socially. Children go into child care at an early age. Child care does not affect the attachment with mother. More time in care: more behavior problems.
