Habitus : self-perceptions that shape one sense off place in the world, deeply ingrained habits, skills and dispositions that we possess due to our life experience. : intersectionality(leith mullings, 1945-present) Intersectional approach -> study how class intersects w/ race and gender. Intersectionality : the way systems of power interconnect to affect individual lives and group experiences. Gap btn upper and middle and lower class are getting bigger. Employment -> middle class isn"t necessarily true.
