In arch, done by presenting idea and defining the arch sigs that would result if your hypothesis was true - an if then statement and analysis of material remains: collect data thru observation and/or experimentation. Arch collect data thru survey, xcv: test hypothesis by comparing the data you collect w/ expected implications, reject, revise and retest your hypothesis as necessary.
