An adaptation that has to do with an organism"s physical structure and body. Behavioural adaptations what an organism does to survive in the conditions of its environment. Reduces heat loss helping maintain core body temperature. it keps outer areas cold and core areas warm by close together blood vessels than exchange heat. They are adapted to live in very hot conditions, they have special enzymes which have a higher optimum temperature, A random error in gene replication that leads to new adaptations developing. Speciation where organisms change so much due to natural selection that a new species is formed. Geographic isolation where a physical barrier divides a population so they can no longer interact and are permanently separated. Separation of a species or population so that they no longer interbreed and evolve into two separate species. The shared, most recent ancestor of new, different species that arose from one population.
