Aka psychopathy, sociopathy: must be 18 y/o. - usually see symptoms of this earlier on in life. - does not conform to social norms, deceitfulness, impulsivity, irritability/aggressiveness, disregard for others" safety, irresponsibility, lack of remorse, can be smooth talkers. Frantic to avoid abandonment, unstable/extremes in relationships, unstable sense of self, impulsive behaviors, recurrent suicidal/nssi behavior, unstable mood, feelings of emptiness, inappropriate intense anger, paranoid ideation. Borderline personality disorder: all or nothing, all good, all bad, emotional rollercoaster. Borderline pd vs. other disorders: bipolar disorder vs. borderline pd. Bipolar fluctuates between moods, with stability in between. Borderline has mood fluctuations, but more than just moods fluctuate: dependent pd vs. borderline pd. Desire to be cared for vs. fear of abandonment.
