1. The prosperous and privileged class invoke the doctrine of the harmony of interests
because they have a dominant voice in the community, because they have a dominant voice
they will be able to identify issues of their interest.
2. I think “morality is the product of power” means that a person’s morals are their power. If
you have bad morals you will do bad things with your power and if you have good morals
you will do good things with your power.
3. He thinks some nations are better than others.
4. The hegemonic stability theory is the argument that regimes are most effective when power
in the international system is most concentrated. Hegemony is the holding by one state of a
preponderance of power in the international system so that it can single handedly dominate
the rules and arrangements by which international political and economic relations are
conducted. I do not agree with this because power should be divided between the nations
rather than one nation have all the power.
