Each one of us has our ideas, but no two are going to be exactly the same: political culture- the maj. ideology of a group, political socialization- the process that takes place in an individual that develops their ideology, ideologies. 1. reform- you don"t throw out the existing system, but instead work within the system to change it. 2. revolutionary- doing away with the old system and creating a new one: political change spectrum. 1. far left are willing to use violence and revolutions to make this change. 2. middle left a. liberals- want change, reformist in nature, work within the system to get the new change they want, democrats today tend to be more liberal. 3. middle a. moderates- content, go with the flow, keep doing what we are doing and let it play out. 4. middle right a. conservatives- like liberals, but they want to go back to the old that they believe worked before.
